For years now, we at have been in a constant state of expansion. Right now, one of our biggest needs is Mechanical Designers.Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a detailer/designer
OR
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or a comparable discipline
- Solidworks - minimum 1 year of experience in the field (3 years preferred)
OR
- Completed classes as part of your Associate Degree
OR
- Excellent familiarity with the Solidworks platform (will only train Sheet Metal commands)
- Experience with the Solidworks PDM is a plus
- Working knowledge of welding and its associated documentation is a plus, as our designs must be buildable
- The ability to work on your own in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment
- An understanding of technical drawings
Job Responsibilities
- Create new or modify existing models and drawings to meet the customer's needs
- Drawings must conform to Kafka guidelines
- Able to use Solidworks and the Solidworks PDM
- Work with fabricators, welders, machinists, and the sales and purchasing teams

We are currently hiring for Saw Operator. Seeking four individuals that are self-motivated and have attention to detail, that also have the ability to work with others.Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Working individually or as a team operating one to multiple saws at a time.
- Using forklift or other material handling equipment to load and unload large pieces of material.
- Ability to read blueprints and plan ahead to perform an efficient cutting strategy.
- Math skills with the ability to read a tape measure.
- Keeping a clean and organized work space.
- Communicating with other parts of the shop with what material is needed.
Job Summary

With the company expanding, we have two Welder/Fabricator positions available. This position requires knowledge of wire feed welding, fabrication, and the ability to read blueprints. Experience and/or degree is preferred.Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications and work orders to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Lay out, position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, and tape measure.
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
- Position and secure work pieces, using hoists, cranes or hand tools
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as MIG welding, torch, plasma torch, and overhead crane.
- Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders
- Weld components in flat or vertical positions

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
- Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced
- Perform a variety of warehouse tasks and duties
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and neat work area
- Demonstrate an understanding of all established Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform visual inspections and complete final checklists
